Garwes Family, We were all sadden to hear about Eric. When my brother texted me last night, I was stunned. I feel like I just read a Facebook post from him. I am sure he and my Dad are walking the fairways of Augusta again. Probably scoring for Sam Snead and Ben Hogan. Leo, Todd, Eric and Matt Story
- Story Family, Savannah, Ga
Eric and I enjoyed many rounds of golf together. He will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to the Garwes family.

Boom... Words cannot convey how I feel about Eric's passing. Although I have not seen you lately I had seen Eric and it always reminded of the wonderful times we had with you and your Mom And Dad. Your family always played a big part in my life as well as all the Stacy's. We are so thankful for all of your love and support. At this time all of the Stacy's send you their love and support. Are arms are around you hugging you tight. Love always, Hollis

I was saddened to read of the loss of your loved one. I personally experienced the grief of losing my loved ones. However, there is comfort to know the Holy Scriptures gives the assurance that God will end death, pain and sorrow. Rev 21:3,4 I hope this brief Bible message brings comfort to you and your family.

This message is primarily for Boom and his daughter Claire whom I have never met. Boom, I cannot tell you how much I am saddened by the loss of your brother and I am devastated to say the least. I spent a lot of quality time with Eric growing up and as you well know we both had a passion for golf. We both made each other better as we competed together, but the big picture that is left in my memory is how much I liked and respected your brother as well as your entire family. I have so many fond memories of Eric and please let his daughter know what a great friend Eric was to me throughout high school. We were best golf buddies for sure. I want both of you to know that Eric had a big heart, a kind soul, would give the shirt off his back if needed and had compassion for life that I could only strive for to this day. My heart goes out to you Boom, your Niece and all family members with my deepest sympathy. God has found a better place for him and Boom i will never forget the great times I had shared with him and your family. May God bless you and all of your family. With deepest Sympathy, Bob Buechner
